ABOUT
My name is Eduardo and I own and operate PIZAZZ PHOTOGRAPHY in Bellingham, WA. I work out of my home studio in beautiful Sudden Valley and local studio spaces as well as on location at your request. I have had a love of photography and image art my whole life and love to practice and share my passion in any way possible.
EXPERIENCE
In my 30 years of photography in both film and digital, I have had the privilege to shoot many events, people, locales and genres. Whether I am shooting a portrait in the studio, a commissioned fine art project , a corporate event in Seattle or a vibrant live performance, you can rely on me to deliver beautiful, perfectly-lit photos on the highest quality archival paper or digital files every time from my secure and private desktop or mobile proofing galleries.
PHILOSOPHY
I am comfortable with many locations and photography styles. My creative vision and technical approach may differ from assignment to assignment, but my commitment to quality and craft is unwavering. I believe capturing the "decisive moment" is where a photograph becomes a vital, living entity in its own right rather than merely a flat, lifeless technical recording of reflected light. Further, I believe that in a successful photograph if the subject is the corporal flesh, then the light is the soul, essence and spirit. One is nothing without the other. These are some of my guiding principles.
Services
SESSIONS AND LIVE SHOWS
After choosing a shoot location together, I will visit ahead of time to design a shoot plan. If the site is unfamiliar I'll take test shots and if outdoors, determine the best time of day for the shoot based on sun and season . For live performance shoots I will visit the venue prior to your performance to survey the lighting and layout, and examine some experimental lighting strategies. Careful planning is critical for a successful shoot.
HEAD SHOTS AND SENIOR PORTRAITS
Working in my studio or your home or business, I will build a collection of head shots for your online business presence, actor or model portfolio and personal brand. Keeping your presence fresh and true is critical for your credibility and marketability. If you have a high school senior we will capture his or her senior portraits in whatever manner or whatever location captures their spirit and essence. Let me capture your professional best. Let me preserve one of your teen's milestone years.
EVENTS AND GATHERINGS
Whether I'm working from a list of must-haves you created or drawing on my experience, I will make sure I get the perfect shots. Count on me for birthdays, anniversaries, corporate, community or social events. I will capture the moments I know you'll want to keep. If desired I will also develop a cohesive "story book" sequence available as digital files or bound paper copies.
